How to Become a CMDCP®
There are two pathways to obtaining your CMDCP® – an Online Course, and a Live Seminar.
PATHWAY 1
Take the Online Course
This option is for those who want to take an online course on their own. It is not a live course.
Go to ICCDP and select the option to start a new application. Create an account and complete your application. Upon approval, a coursework link will be sent to you via email.
PATHWAY 2
Take the Live Seminar
This option is for those who want to take the seminar live, with a trainer to explain the material.
Go to ICCDP and find an MDCC seminar that works for you. Register and attend the live seminar. Then come
back to www.iccdp.net and complete a grandfather application. Upon approval, you will be a CMDCP®.
Who should apply for CMDCP® Certification?
What do I need to apply?
- Option One: One full year of paid experience to complete the online application and course
- Option Two: One full year of paid experience and a Certificate of Completion from an MDCC seminar given by an approved CMDCPT trainer.
What are the fees associated with this certification?
- Option One: $300.00 USD fee for the application, MDCC course, and certification.
- Option Two: Seminar prices can vary as the trainers can set their own rates. $150.00 USD application and certification fee.

Renewal Requirements
Renewal is every two years. You will need to login at www.iccdp.net and complete a renewal application. Upon completion of your renewal application, a link to a required 4 hour renewal course will be emailed to you.
You will have 30 days to complete this renewal coursework. The cost of renewal is $225.00 USD.
