Spotlight On: Calli Cantrell, CADDCT, CDP, CFRDT
“I have been in healthcare since 2010, starting as a CNA. I’ve held several positions in healthcare since then, one being a memory care director. That is where I fell in love with Dementia and helping others understand and approach it.
I have always felt that when people know better, they do better.
I became a CADDCT because of my love for teaching others, but I really love when I’m working with someone and it’s like a lightbulb turns on when they relate one of my examples to something they’ve experienced. I also love sharing my own stories and my experience, helping people know they’re not alone in their journey. The more people are trained in this topic, the better care our residents living with dementia will receive.”
