Tina Rodgers CDP CADDCT

Tina Rogers brings a unique mindset to her training as a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT). A Louisiana native, Tina has 20 years of wide-ranging experience in senior living. With her passion for memory care, she has held diverse roles in activities, memory care programming, operations, marketing, and sales. She has brought her experience to many large players in the senior living space including Sunrise, Always Best Care, Alzheimer’s Services of Baton Rouge and Phoenix Senior Living, among others. Currently, Tina works with BD Studio Collection providing interior design and architecture solutions for senior living properties.

“Memory care has always been a passion, whether through marketing or life enrichment. It’s wonderful to have that experience baked in. It’s a great balance having memory care education and a sales background.”

After becoming a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) in 2018, she was inspired to become a CADDCT by the overwhelming demand for quality care for the dementia diagnosed and education for those who care for them. Tina provides the NCCDP Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Curriculum locally in Louisiana, her focus is on leadership development and family interventions. Drawing on her passion for memory care and her ability to command a room, she’s an in-demand trainer. Her last class was presented to 80 people at Francois Bend Senior Living – a huge class by any standard! Her training grows as she waters it. In addition to senior living, she sees a need for CDP training in Hospice providers. As a problem solver and solution driver, Tina brings her leadership experience and deep memory care knowledge to her training. Tina is in the early stages of launching Memory Care Mentors, a LinkedIn group.

Wendy Oubre, Director of Nursing at St. James Place had this to say:

“It’s not just what my team learned from Tina C. Rogers Live Instruction but how they felt about what they learned that was her gift to us all. Her passion is contagious.”
