Training Requirements:
- Initial Training: All staff in dementia care units must complete at least eight hours of training within their first 30 days of employment.
- Direct Care Staff: Required to complete an additional 16 hours of training within the first 30 days, covering specialized dementia care topics.
- Annual Training: Direct care staff must complete at least eight hours of ongoing dementia-specific training annually.
