Continuing Education Credits for NCCDP Members.

FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO OBTAIN YOUR CEU's

1. SUBSCRIBE TO ALZHEIMER'S CARE GUIDE or Purchase each individual articles from Store4givers.com. Please note that many of the tests located at NCCDP are from past articles and you will need to purchase individual articles from Store4givers.com. New tests are added as new issues of the Alzheimer's Care Guide is released.

2. REGISTER AT NCCDP TO TAKE THE TEST
Notice- You must be a CDP, CDCM, Associates, NCCDP Trainers, OR CFRDT to gain access to our CEU section. After registering, we will be checking your registration info with our current CDP list. If you are on our list we activate your registration so that you can access the CEU program.

3. READ ARTICLES from ALZHEIMER'S CARE GUIDE or from individual articles from Store4givers.com

4. TAKE TEST

ABOUT CEUS

The CEU's can only be used with the NCCDP. You will have to check with each certifying body, if trying to submit these articles for CEU's. To receive CEU credits from NCCDP you MUST be a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), Certified Dementia Care Manager (CDCM) or NCCDP approved instructor in good standing with NCCDP. To access the CEU program you will need a password to enter the testing area.

bullet HOW MANY CEUS DO I NEED TO RENEW MY CERTIFICATION WITH NCCDP?
All CDP's need 10 ceus every two years to renew your certification. You are welcome to take our ceus tests. But to read the articles, you will need a subscription to the Alzheimer's Care Guide Magazine. Once you have read the article at Alzheimer's Care Guide Magazine, you will than log back on to our site, create an account and take the test. You are welcome to take the test more than one time, should you not have a passing grade. Once you have completed and passed the test, your ceu certificate will print on your printer.

bullet WHY IS THE PASSWORD FOR MY ALZHEIMER'S CARE GUIDE DIFFERENT FROM MY REGISTRATION WITH THE NCCDP CEU PROGRAM?
When you register for the CEU program at nccdp.org you are welcomed to use your Alzheimer's Care Guide username and password. Or, you can created a different username and password

bullet WHERE IS MY PASSWORD?
For the Alzheimer's Care Guide your subscriber number is printed on a label on the front of the magazine. Your password is your Zip Code. For the CEU section username and password click here - Retrieve Password.

bullet I WANT TO RENEW AS A CDP AT NCCDP. WHERE DO I START?
Click here- CDP Renewal application.

bullet I LOST MY CEU CERTIFICATE. WHAT CAN I DO?
If you have lost your CEU certificate from NCCDP simply re-take the test (as long as you are a CDP in good standing) and print out the certificate.
